If you’ve looked online for Mother’s Day inspiration, you’ve bumped into “classic,” “easy” or “surefire” lunch or brunch recipes to delight Mom. Nothing wrong with that, but taking her out is even better!

Kala Bistro will serve a 3-course prix fixe menu and a reduced version of the regular menu from noon to 6 p.m. on Mother’s Day—and we have free off-street parking in the back.
